Toddler group band together to help Ukrainian families

Becky Hannan who runs Toddler Sense Wigan and St Helens, based at Wonderland Community centre in St Helens, last month held a fundraiser for No Duff UK.

The charity who have done incredible work for Ukrainian families finding refuge in St Helens and surrounding areas is currently planning their next trip to Ukraine to support and bring aid to many suffering families.

The fundraiser welcomed more than 30 families and raised £501.50.

Becky, said: “I’m incredibly proud of how much we made. Families who attended the weekly classes, bought raffle tickets and I invited local small businesses, ran by mums in St Helens, to come down and run a stall on the day of the fundraiser.

“Many small local businesses also made very generously donations to the raffle. This was a fantastic effort made by the community to give back to those who need it.

“I would like to thank the following businesses for their support and donations; Baby Sensory Wigan and St Helens, Fox and Bobbin, Zoe Creates, Homespun with Beeehoo, Bespoke Poems by Katie, Family and Friends Play Centre, Heart and Sole Women’s Fitness, Gels by Jodie M, Handmade Harrison, Mummy’s Mini Monster and final thank you to B&M for a raffle donation.”

Toddler Sense Wigan and St Helens runs every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Wonderland Community centre in St Helens and Thursdays in Orrell.
