Aylesbury’s new fitness centre the Family Hub opens

The Family Hub, which is based in Duck Farm Court within the town, officially revealed itself to the public on September 16 as several local residents along with the Mayor were present for the grand ribbon-cutting ceremony. 

The latest fitness centre in Buckinghamshire will offer activity and exercise classes for adults and young people, along with baby massages, a women’s only fitness class and first aid workshops.

Founder and owner, Kimberly Parker, said: “After being in the fitness industry for 18 years running my women’s fitness business, I found it difficult to find places to rent and run my group sessions.

“So thought I would start a new concept and tie it in with another area I’m passionate about and that’s families so this is when the Family Hub was created.”

Despite opening this month, the business’s social media pages have generated hundreds of followers.

Aylesbury’s mayor, councillor Steven Lambert, added: “Come down and take a look for yourself at this great business at Duck Farm Court.”
