We aren’t joking!According to a research conducted by Shanghai’s Fudan University, a study on the impact of various shoe sizes on women’s pelvic floor muscles (the bottom of the pelvis which supports organs such as bladder, bowel and uterus) revealed that women who wore two-inch heels found better results since it made their pelvis tilt the right angle which made their muscles contract and helped keeping them in good shape.Researchers in Italy found that women who wore two-inch high heels were more ‘trained’ in pelvic floor exercises which increased their sensitivity and even helped them orgasm better. The study discovered that these muscles were not stimulated in the same way by shoes with no heels or very high heels. Researchers reported on the study’s findings in the journal Translational Andrology and Urology, saying that pelvic floor muscle issues could cause pain, incontinence, and sexual dysfunction.
